Socials Only was born from years spent behind the scenes of weddings long before wedding content creation became the industry it is today.
Hi, I'm Kirsten, a Brisbane-based wedding content creator capturing weddings across Queensland, Australia and beyond. Before launching Socials Only, I spent more than eight years as a wedding coordinator, planning, managing and bringing to life over 100 weddings.
During that time, I was constantly reaching for a bride's or bridesmaid's phone to capture the little moments happening in between—the nervous excitement while getting ready, the happy tears before the ceremony, the champagne cheers and the candid memories everyone wanted to relive the very next day.
Back then, there wasn't really a name for it. I was capturing behind-the-scenes wedding content simply because I knew those moments were just as important as the big ones.
Working in weddings taught me something that's impossible to learn overnight—you start to anticipate moments before they happen. I know when a parent is about to tear up, when a flower girl is about to steal the show, when your best friend is about to burst into laughter and when you need someone quietly fixing your veil before you walk down the aisle. Those instincts come from years of living and breathing weddings.
Today, I combine that experience with modern wedding content creation to capture your day exactly as it felt.
